Manchester City are reportedly on the verge of completing a major move for Lille’s teenage midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, with the Premier League champions reaching an agreement with the French club over a deal worth up to €100 million, including potential add-ons.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Lille have accepted City’s proposal after negotiations over the highly-rated midfielder.

Bouaddi had already reached an agreement on personal terms with Manchester City in July, leaving the clubs to finalise the transfer.

The 22-year-old is now expected to make the move to the Etihad Stadium during the current summer transfer window.

Manchester City view Bouaddi as an important addition to their midfield options and have moved quickly to secure his services.
