Strong Leadership and Unity: The Bedrock of NDC’s Success in Atwima Kwanwoma – Lukeman Observes

For any political party to thrive and maintain an effective organizational structure, it must be anchored by dedicated leadership and a clear vision.

This is the firm belief of Mr. Lukeman Mumuni, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Secretary for Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti Region.

In an interaction with Mr. Lukeman, he emphasized that political parties risk losing their appeal and electoral viability when leadership becomes weak or allows internal discord to fester.

According to him, a culture where members are encouraged to sow division or take party protocols for granted is a recipe for stagnation.

Addressing Baseless Allegations

Mr. Lukeman’s comments come on the heels of a smear campaign launched against him by a section of party activists who accused him of “hijacking” the constituency party as his personal property.

Categorically refuting the claims, he described the allegations as malicious, unsubstantiated, and made in bad taste to tarnish his reputation.

He revealed that the architects of these accusations are fellow party members who lost in the recent transparent constituency elections.

“They seek my removal, but they will fail because of my track record and hard work in party organization,” he stated.

He cautioned those currently being influenced by external actors to wage an attack mission against him to reconsider their actions.

“When your actions lead you into trouble, the very person who encouraged you to make the mistake will betray you to your fate,” he warned.

A Call for Tact and Unity

Despite the provocation, Mr. Lukeman maintains a statesmanlike approach.

He expressed his intention to handle the internal friction with sensitivity to prevent further damage to the party’s cohesion.

“I am expecting apologies from my detractors before I consider any final action,” he noted.

He emphasized that his priority remains the stability of the NDC.

As the party approaches its upcoming constituency executive elections, Mr. Lukeman urged the rank and file to prioritize candidates who embody integrity, transparency, and prudence.

He believes these qualities are essential for moving the party forward and winning the hearts of the electorate.

Groundswell of Support

The allegations against the Secretary appear to have fallen on deaf ears among the broader party base.

Independent interviews conducted in the constituency paint a different picture of Mr. Lukeman as a disciplined leader whose administration has overseen significant progress in the constituency.

Many party supporters described the actions of Lukeman’s detractors as “shameful” and are calling for the party hierarchy to impose sanctions to curb such divisive behavior.

“Lukeman is our man; he stands for transparency and fair play,” remarked one dedicated party supporter.

The supporter stressed that no plot or mechanism can remove him, because his work speaks for itself.
