“Please Forgive Me” – Actor Ijebu Tenders Heartfelt Apology Following ‘Ogogo’s’ Death

Nollywood actor Olatayo Amokade, popularly known as Ijebu, has tendered a heartfelt apology to everyone he may have offended in the movie industry and beyond.

In a video shared on Instagram on Monday, the Yoruba actor expressed deep remorse, revealing that his heart was heavy and he needed to free himself from the burden.

Ijebu, who made the apology following the death of veteran actor Taiwo Hassan ‘Ogogo’, also stated that he has forgiven those who have offended him.

He admitted that life is vanity and urged others to let go of grudges.

He wrote:
“Good morning everyone…. I’m so Sorry if I have offended you, pls forgive me.”

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Ogogo passed away on Sunday at the age of 66 after a battle with cancer. His death has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, with colleagues and fans paying tribute to the veteran actor.

According to a statement by his colleague, Prince Jide Kosoko, Ogogo’s remains will be taken to his hometown of Ilaro, Ogun State, where special prayers will be held at the pavilion on Monday at 11:00 am.
