• Nana Ama McBrown has urged young people to learn a trade, regardless of whether they have a formal education, saying practical skills can create opportunities and financial independence.

• She stressed the importance of self-belief and mindset, encouraging people not to allow their background or educational level to determine their future.

• McBrown also advised young adults to identify what they love, develop their skills and stay focused, warning that pursuing too many things at once can hinder progress.

Speaking in a recent interview on Joy FM, the actress said academic qualifications should not prevent anyone from acquiring a practical skill that could become a source of income.

McBrown stressed that a person’s background or educational level should not determine their prospects in life. She urged young people to recognise their individual abilities and refuse to allow difficult circumstances to limit their ambitions.
