Crown FC have appointed Waheed Bello Adeolu as their new General Manager ahead of the 2026-27 Nigeria National League season.

The club’s latest administrative change was confirmed by the Oyo State Government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, with Adeolu expected to play a key role in strengthening the team’s management and football operations.

His appointment comes as Crown FC prepare for another NNL campaign, with the new General Manager tasked with providing the leadership required to improve the club’s fortunes.

He is also expected to offer technical direction as the Ajilete Warriors work towards a competitive season.

Crown FC will begin their league campaign away from home against Heartland in Owerri on Saturday, October 30.

The fixture will provide an early test for the side as they seek to make a strong start to the new season.

The club have also made another significant change to their management structure by promoting Oyebowale Adetayo.

He has moved from his previous role as Welfare Director to become the club’s Chief Operating Officer.

Adetayo’s promotion is expected to give the club additional administrative support as preparations for the new campaign continue.

The changes at the top of the organisation underline Crown FC’s efforts to strengthen their structure ahead of the upcoming NNL season.

With Adeolu now overseeing the club’s management direction and Adetayo taking on wider operations responsibilities, Crown FC will hope the new leadership team can help deliver a successful campaign.
