Friends and colleagues of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba will gather on Tuesday, August 11, for a candlelight and artiste night in her honour.

The event, tagged ‘An Evening of Love, Music & Memories’, is scheduled to hold at LTV 8, Blueroof, Ikeja, Lagos, beginning at 5pm.

The organisers announced the tribute in a flyer shared on Osoba’s official Instagram page on Friday, describing it as a celebration of her life, creativity and contribution to the arts. “Her voice, her art, her spirit… will remain in our hearts,” the flyer read.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that the Yoruba actress passed away on Tuesday evening, nearly two years after undergoing breast cancer surgery.

Her death was announced by her colleague Alesh Ola Sanni on Wednesday, who expressed grief over the loss.

Osoba had first revealed her diagnosis in late 2024, underwent surgery, and later announced she had overcome the disease.

Her passing has sparked an outpouring of grief from fans and colleagues across social media.
