Charles Okocha Denies Biting Portable, Says He Would Rather Chew Grass

Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has dismissed allegations by singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, that he bit him during their recent celebrity boxing rematch.

Okocha broke his silence on the accusations during an appearance on TVC Entertainment on Tuesday, insisting that the claims were false.

Following the bout, Portable had accused Okocha of biting him on the back and locking his neck during the contest.

Clarifying the air, Okocha explained that he wore a mouth guard throughout the fight, making it impossible to bite his opponent. He also stated that he had no reason to bite the singer.

He said:
“Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back. I was wearing a mouth guard; how is that even possible? He was just lying,” Okocha said. He further added that he would rather chew grass than bite Portable, jokingly saying he did not want to catch rabies from his skin.

“I would rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies. Have you seen how Portable’s skin looks? Hell no, I wouldn’t do that. He should just accept defeat.”

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Portable had walked out of the boxing rematch on Friday, leading to his disqualification and Okocha being declared the winner. Portable claimed that Okocha bit him, which is why he abandoned the fight.
