Carlos Queiroz makes four changes as Ati-Zigi, Inaki Return for Ghana’s World Cup clash against Colombia

Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has made four changes to his starting line-up for the Black Stars’ FIFA World Cup Round of 32 encounter against Colombia at the Kansas City Stadium on Friday night.
Goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi returns between the posts after recovering from the injury he sustained during Ghana’s opening Group L match against Panama.
The St. Gallen shot-stopper missed the subsequent games against England and Croatia, with Benjamin Asare deputising in his absence.
In defence, Jerome Opoku replaces Jonas Adjetey and partners Derrick Luckassen at the heart of the backline. Gideon Mensah and Marvin Senaya retain their places at left and right-back respectively.
Carlos Queiroz has also handed Caleb Yirenkyi a starting berth in midfield, with the youngster replacing Elisha Owusu. He joins Thomas Partey and Kwasi Sibo in Ghana’s three-man midfield.
Further forward, Inaki Williams returns to the starting XI in place of Kamaldeen Sulemana. The Athletic Club forward will lead the attack alongside captain Jordan Ayew and Antoine Semenyo.
The winner of the Round of 32 tie will progress to the Round of 16, where Switzerland await. Kick-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET (00:30 GMT on Saturday), which corresponds to 12:30 a.m. GMT on Saturday in Ghana.
