Asante Kotoko sign forward Emmanuel Mamah on free transfer

Asante Kotoko have confirmed the signing of forward Emmanuel Mamah on a free transfer ahead of the 2026-27 Ghana Premier League season.

The 21-year-old joins the Kumasi-based club from Samartex, having established himself as one of the league’s versatile attacking players.

Mamah scored seven goals in 20 appearances last season and has three seasons of Ghana Premier League experience.

Standing at 1.88m, he primarily plays as a central striker but can also operate on the left wing.

The forward said joining one of Ghana’s most successful clubs was a dream come true.

“This is a dream come true, and I am grateful to the board and coaches for giving me this opportunity to wear the jersey of this historic club. I will put in the hard work to get the goals for the club.”

Mamah will wear the number 18 shirt during the 2026-27 campaign.

Kotoko will open their league season away to newly promoted Debibi United as they look to challenge for domestic honours.
