Nigerian striker Ahmed Abdullahi has secured a fresh opportunity to revive his career after completing a permanent move to Turkish Super Lig side Eyüpspor.

The 22-year-old forward joins the Turkish club from English outfit Sunderland, where his progress was hampered by injuries that prevented him from making a competitive first-team appearance.

Despite being included in matchday squads for domestic cup fixtures, Abdullahi was unable to break into the senior team during his time with the Black Cats.

Eyüpspor have handed the former Flying Eagles star a two-year contract, with the agreement including an option to extend his stay for an additional season.
