Joe Biden was so weak that he couldn’t get the job done, and this became a major driver for the change of government in the US. Both Kamala Harris and Trump seemingly campaigned for peace, but Trump won the election because his promise of peace resonated with the American people. But all was just a sham. Trump seems to be a warlord more than a Nobel peace winner if his name should ever be on the nomination list.

Russia had invaded Ukraine, and the world called for a ceasefire. Russia was begged to leave poor Ukraine alone. Soon, the EU rushed in support for Ukraine to fight for its sovereignty. At least, Ukraine was going to face Russia head-on. No one could predict the end of that war, even though Ukraine and the world at large longed for peace. Trump promised to end the war in a week or two, with much confidence and conviction. It was as if Russia was the younger brother of the US and just an order of “stop fighting” was going to end the war. But here the world is, nearly forgetting about the war in Ukraine. This sudden loss of the promise of peace and memory of the world is Trump’s fault.

It’s as if he is a magician; he has run the world crazier than it was before. More interestingly, the majority of Western leaders still lack the strength and courage to call on Trump to stop this “nonsense of war.”

Immediately taking office, this man, Trump, lover of war and chaos, but hater of peace, first instituted economic war, which saw many people starve to death and countries’ economies fall apart. When the world thought it was going to have some breathing space, the White House sat aloof while Israel attacked Gaza. Not only did the US sit without doing anything about it to stop the war; the White House supported Israel, maybe because they still remain “Good’s appointed people”, while the people of Gaza are “the damned children of Adam and Eve.” For the deaths, AL Jazeera has done us well by feeding the world with the true events as they unfold every day. While the few African countries that had balls were thinking of what they could do to bring peace to the world through negotiation, the US was once again planning another bigger catastrophic disaster, as Trump affectionately loves using such expressions.

A war on Iran was started, and this war has held several economies hostage. Today, as you read this piece, the US is in the ocean launching bombs and striking Iran from all angles. Their military calls their operation on the 21st July 2026 a great success, having launched 11 strikes. The Secretary of War has appreciated the continuous war on Iran and the wars held by US allies against other countries. But only time will be the right judge.

The world today longs for peace, but one person and his leadership have denied it. You may not be a fan of Trump more than I am, but truth be told, he is more of a warlord now than a Nobel Prize winner if he is ever to be nominated. I don’t know what conclusion you can make from what is happening, but I hope you make a reasoned one. I think America is doing great as promised. What do you think?
