Former Black Stars captain Andre Ayew believes Mohammed Kudus has the quality to play for any of Europe’s top clubs.

The 25-year-old Ghana international enjoyed an impressive two-year spell at West Ham United after joining the Premier League side from Ajax.

Kudus subsequently moved across London to Tottenham Hotspur, but his first season at the club was disrupted by recurring injuries.

His fitness problems also ruled him out of Ghana’s 2026 World Cup campaign in North America.

Speaking on the Obi One Podcast, hosted by former Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi, Ayew said Kudus has the ability to compete at the highest level.

“He’s got everything to be at the top,” Ayew said.

The former Marseille and Swansea City forward, who played alongside Kudus at the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, urged the midfielder to prioritise his recovery and avoid rushing his return.

Ayew said Kudus was good enough to play for some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

“In my opinion, he is good enough to be in clubs like Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, etc.,” he added.

Kudus is currently recovering from injury and is nearing a return to full fitness.
