England captain Harry Kane has been recognised as Europe’s top league goalscorer for the 2025/26 season after an exceptional campaign with Bayern Munich.

The striker has been awarded the European Golden Shoe, an individual prize presented to the player who scores the most goals in Europe’s leading domestic leagues.

Kane’s remarkable scoring record helped him secure the prestigious honour after another outstanding year in front of goal.

Across the season, Kane reportedly registered 73 goals for club and country, with 12 of those coming while representing England.

He had initially drawn level with the former striker before eventually surpassing his record.
