I am honored to join many well-wishers across the nation and beyond to wish you, Your Excellency Hajia Samira Bawumia glorious Happy Birthday. As you celebrate your birthday, I reflect on how you have significantly contributed to Ghanaian politics as a woman with resilience, patience, tolerance, and amazing public display of brilliance. You are a very special female politician in Ghanaian politics today.

Undoubtedly, politics in Ghana is so demanding and intimidating in that, it requires a lady with courage and resilient to venture into. As a smart politician, Your Excellency, you have endured it over the years with amazing show of political maturity and tolerance amid unwarranted attacks. You are an institution many women and young girls are tapping political knowledge from as they aspire for greatness in politics.

Your Excellency, you are always a strong pillar to your husband, H. E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the next President of Ghana, In Shaa Allah. Many politicians’ wives shy away from politics but you are completely a different breed who undoubtedly has shown the whole world that you are indeed the daughter of a politician. Your strong believe in and support for H. E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is admirable and enviable. Keep it up and may Allah continue to protect, guide and bless you.

Your Excellency, your resourcefulness and other leadership qualities are exceptionally glaring and impactful. As a Founder and Chairperson of African Women and Children Conference (AFRIWOCC), you gathered high-level personalities across the world in Accra in 2025 to champion youth led innovations in Africa. You have over the years championed clean cooking and sustainable energy initiatives in Africa. Your efforts have been exceptionally impactful, touching many lives across Africa not just Ghana.

Your Excellency, you have changed many lives locally through your NGO (Samira Empowerment and Humanitarian Projects) in the areas of health, education, women empowerment, among others. I believe all the lives you have positively impacted across the length and breadth of the country and beyond are celebrating your birthday today with excitement and great appreciation.
