New Real Madrid signing Yan Diomande has opened up about his deep respect for José Mourinho, making clear he’s willing to give absolutely everything to succeed under the veteran coach.

The Ivorian forward suggested that playing for Mourinho creates an almost unbreakable bond between the manager and his squad, describing a level of commitment that borders on total devotion.

Speaking in comments relayed by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Diomande said, “When you play for José Mourinho, you want to DIE for him. I am ready to die for him.”

Beyond his admiration for Mourinho, the young striker also addressed the weight of expectation that comes with his transfer fee.

Rather than viewing the substantial investment as a burden, Diomande framed it as proof of the club’s faith in his potential, insisting the figures involved don’t add pressure to his game.
