Danny Young Inducted Into Recording Academy’s 2026 Class
Popular Afrobeats artist, songwriter, and producer Ajibola Oluwamuyiwa Danladi, better known as Danny Young, has achieved a significant career milestone with his induction into the Recording Academy’s 2026 membership class.
The Academy, which oversees the Grammy Awards, announced the newest cohort of music creators and industry professionals admitted into the organisation.
Danny Young was among the selected members, which include singers, songwriters, producers, engineers, and other professionals contributing to the global music industry.
Announcing the achievement on his social media page, he described the invitation as a meaningful moment in his over two-decade career.
He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to bring his experience and voice to the global music community and contribute to the Grammy Awards process, adding that he is honoured to be part of a community dedicated to shaping the future of music.
He wrote:
