Iconic music producer, Nelson Brown, the genius music maker and CEO of Dove Entertainment Limited, has lent his voice to many others to condemn the recent mass killings of residents of Benue State recently. In a provocative statement Nelson, declared, “The Killings in Benue State Must Stop”.
The multiple award winning producer, who discovered and nurtured many music super stars such as Tuface Idibia,, Blackface, Daddy Showkey, Baba Fryo, SoundSultan among others, described the Benue Massacre as tragic and senseless killings” and has composed a heart touching protest song he specially dedicated to the victims. He has released it online with very wide acceptability and appreciation from his fans within and outside Nigeria. In the song presently trending online, the vocal music maestro called on the Nigerian authorities to stop the senseless killings in Benue State.

“It is with a deeply troubled heart that I address the ongoing and senseless killings in Benue State. No one has the right—under any circumstance—to take the life of another. Life is sacred, and any act of violence that leads to bloodshed must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.
“It is indeed tragic and heartbreaking to continuously see and hear of my people being slaughtered in cold blood, all in the name of conflicts or misguided justifications. Whatever the reasons may be, taking the law into one’s own hands is unacceptable, unlawful, and a direct threat to the peace and unity of our nation.
The angry music producer in a very mournful mood, called on the Nigerian political leaders to urgently intervene instantly to crackdown the continuous heartless bloodshed in Benue State. ” I hereby call on the National Assembly to, as a matter of urgent national importance, approve the creation of State Police. This is a critical step toward addressing the growing insecurity in our communities. State police will allow for more localized and uncompromised security structures that understand the peculiarities and needs of the people they are meant to protect”
“The time to act is now. We must not allow this culture of violence and impunity to continue. Benue State and every part of Nigeria deserve peace, justice, and safety”, he lamented.
