Asante Kotoko sign Isaac Opoku Agyemang on two-year deal

Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of forward Isaac Opoku Agyemang ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The 24-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Kumasi-based club after completing his medical examination.
Opoku Agyemang, who previously played for AshantiGold, Vision FC and FC Samartex, said joining Kotoko fulfilled a long-standing ambition.
“I am delighted to have finally secured this opportunity to play for Kotoko,” he said.
“I had previously expressed my desire to join the club to my agents, but the circumstances did not allow it at that time.
“However, I am now here and ready to dedicate my full commitment to the team.”
His arrival makes him the third attacking player recruited by head coach Eric Tinkler during the transfer window, following the signings of Solomon Nsoh and Emmanuel Mamah.
Kotoko are aiming to mount a strong challenge for domestic honours in the new campaign after making several additions to their squad.
They will begin their 2026/27 league campaign away against newly promoted Debibi United.
