Nollywood actress Maureen Okpoko has appealed to the public for support amid her challenge with blindness.

Speaking in a viral video, the actress explained that she has been battling visual impairment for four years, which needs urgent medical intervention.

Calling on bloggers, colleagues in the movie industry, and friends, Okpoko urged them to come to her aid in every aspect.

She said:
“I have been visually challenged for four years. Please, I am seeking your financial assistance for further medical intervention. Tunde Ednut, VDM, bloggers, colleagues and friends, please come to my aid.

“Your prayers, contributions and words of encouragement will be highly appreciated.”
