The Nigerian army has found a woman claiming to be one of the 270 Chibok high school girls abducted 8 years ago by Boko Haram the jihadist group in Borno State, Northeastern Nigeria.

In 2014, Boko Haram’s kidnapped 276 school girls age from 12 to 17 from a boarding school in Chibok, Borno State. This sparked a worldwide campaign for their release called #BringBackOurGirls. Eight years later, more than 100 girls are still unaccounted for.

The Nigerian army revealed on Twitter on Tuesday that it had found a woman carrying a baby near a village in the northeastern state of Borno who it said is likely one of the high school girls kidnapped back in 2014.
