Iyan Aladuke Denies Toyin Abraham’s Role In Marriage Crash, Says Allegations Are False
Actor Femi Adebayo’s ex-wife, Omotayo Sanusi, better known as Iyan Aladuke, has publicly denied allegations that actress Toyin Abraham was responsible for the problems in her marriage.
In a statement shared on her Instagram page, she addressed the false narratives surrounding her marriage and clarified that Toyin Abraham never informed her that another actress was with her then-partner on a movie set.
Iyan Aladuke stated that she never confronted or attacked anyone on any movie location, adding that no such incident ever took place. She noted that she was present on the production from start to finish and was responsible for catering to over 500 cast and crew members for over a month.
She also questioned how such an incident could have occurred without a single witness, given the scale of the production.
She further urged the public to stop repeating false narratives and emphasized that her silence should not be interpreted as an admission of guilt.
Addressing the recent video by blogger Mama Esabod, she described its claims as false and misleading.
She wrote:
“The allegation that actress Toyin Abraham was responsible for the problems in my marriage by allegedly informing me that another actress was with my then-partner on a movie set is completely false.”
“For the record, I never confronted, attacked, assaulted, or harassed any woman or man at any movie location. No such incident ever took place.”
“I was present on that production from the very beginning until the end of the shoot. My team and I were solely responsible for the welfare of the entire production, catering for over 500 cast and crew members for more than one month as my contribution and support to my then-partner.”
“Considering the scale of that production, with over 500 people present daily, it is difficult to understand how such a serious incident could have allegedly occurred without a single credible witness or anyone directly involved ever coming forward to confirm it.”
“If anyone genuinely claims to have been attacked or assaulted by me—directly or indirectly—I believe it is only fair that they come forward and make that claim themselves. Until then, I respectfully ask that people stop repeating and amplifying false narratives that have no basis in truth.”
“I have remained silent out of respect for everyone involved and because I chose peace over public disputes. However, my silence should never be interpreted as an admission that these allegations are true.”
“This statement serves as my official clarification on this particular allegation. I sincerely hope it brings an end to the continued circulation of this false narrative.”
“There is a recent video by Mama Esabod currently circulating online that contains claims about me which are false, misleading, and deeply unsettling. It is because of that video that I have chosen to make this public clarification.
For a long time, I remained silent because I believed peace was better than engaging in public back-and-forth. Unfortunately, silence is often mistaken for confirmation, and I can no longer allow that to happen.
I have screenshots of conversations between the parties directly involved that I could share. However, I have chosen not to do so because I do not believe it would be healthy or beneficial to continue fueling public conflict.
My intention is not to attack anyone or prolong this issue. It is simply to state the truth as I know it, correct the record, and put an end to this particular false narrative.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read this.
OMOTAYO SANUSI.”
