Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo is filled with anticipation ahead of her grandson Rakeem’s first birthday.

Taking to her Instagram page, the movie star expressed gratitude to her Maker for His love and grace, thanking Him for the privilege of being a grandmother.

Iyabo announced that her grandson, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, will turn one on August 24. She promised to shut down Lagos in celebration on August 29.

She also thanked her daughter Priscilla and son-in-law and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux for giving her the joy of being a grandmother.

She wrote:
“How do I begin to say thank you to You, Lord, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Ancient of Days, I am that I am, my Alpha and Omega, the first and last, the same God today and forever, my father in heaven. How do I begin to thank you for your love and grace? I can never thank you enough. Thank you for the abundant grace and unending love.

Thank you, Lord, for making me the sexiest glamma ever. I’m just so grateful. I thank you, Lord.

The countdown is on. Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala going to be one on August 24th.

And we are shutting everywhere down on August 29th.

Recall that Priscilla Ojo tied the knot in 2025 to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, and they welcomed their son, Prince Rakeem Ayomide in Canada on August 24, 2025.
