Dr. Farzam’s “Surprise Rise Of Africa Strategy” Is Not Just A Mantra, It’s A Great Leap Forward That Has Taken On A Life Of Its Own.

Dr. Farzam Kamalabadi is a man forged by the fires of travail, learning, relearning and the conditioning of the mind to become so positively weaponized that it will snatch DNA of success from the event horizon of a tumoiltous blackhole situation or a scenario plagued with the practicalities of failure. Dr. Farzam is a visionary colossus whose resume of achievements reads like a lexicon dictionary. And for good measure he has impacted several regions of the globe with his pragmatic result oriented ideologies which have produced forensic outcomes for the betterment of the people in that country and region alongside their neighbors.
In a Middle East interview Dr. Farzam was once asked what is the one thing that paves the way to greatness? And his response was, “There is no one factor; instead, there is a formula. Like with any formula, there are 20 plus elements, and if any one element is missing, it falls short and is aborted.”
He then proceeded to elaborate on a few of them – stating that a crystal clear understanding of the calling, the mission, keeping the vision, creating superior methodologies and modeling, observing and adopting a systems-oriented mindset and process-oriented system, consistency and perseverance are all key to walking the path of greatness.
Dr. Farzam Kamalabadi
Without a doubt walking in the shoes of an unforgiving early stretch of life’s travails, birthed the consciousness and blueprint for greatness Dr. Farzam now embodies and is globally famous for. And to cap it all he believes a “sense of destiny” is the icing on the cake of the “greatness” journey for anyone.
Dr. Farzam’s destined focus during this decade is to affect the collective rise of Africa from the throes of doldrum, to a hyper jump of wealth generation and redistribution. In his open letter, the ‘Future Trends Manifesto for Africa’, he lays out the processes which have gathered momentum and received huge reverberations in Africa and globally within a very short time. These processes realign resources, ideation, projections and execution to bring about economic outcomes and sustainable development footprints which manifestly changes the destiny of the nation state and her people from top to bottom of their policy drive.
Dr. Farzam’s message to world leaders especially those on the Africa continent is that, if you believe in faith, there is not a force in the universe that can’t be harnessed and tapped into, or that can stand between you and your greatness in delivering impact and service to the world of humanity. For Farzam Kamalabadi, victory for the individual or team is a sacred outcome.
In life there are many who can say ‘No Aspiration Is Too High to attain’, fewer can actually begin to execute their dreams, and the rarest of them the spectrum of people, are those in a genre who dare to see them through to the very end. Dr. Farzam Kamalabadi falls into the third category hence his magnetism and vibrational frequency for repetitive success in achieving rare developmental results architectured from methodical planning and taking resilient steps to incarnate the remote viewing of the favoured outcome. With his vast network of international contacts, allies, resources and know-how in over 120 countries, he is the founder and president of Future Trends Group which has completed over 100 projects and/or transactions and generating in excess, a staggering US$30Billion in the last quarter of a century.

As an unrelenting leadership force of nature, Farzam Kamalabadi, a metaphor for pure human grit, given he built Future Trends simultaneously as he forged and crafted the fate of nations with positive return on investment, especially was the case of China, the Middle East, Africa, and even the West. Over the course of two decades and more, he has held key positions, including Senior Economic Advisor to over 20 municipal and regional governments in China; working strategically in advising and overseeing projects of the national oil systems of several countries, including Kuwait, Oman and not limited to China; he has proven instrumental to the China-Oman trade volume hyper-jump from $600million to $11Billion between 2001 to 2007. Dr. Farzam masterfully guided the first-ever zero-bullet peaceful transition of power in Africa, in Zimbabwe in November 2017; and achieved successful changes in several rounds of key national policies of China. It comes as no surprise that he has been stated as “The Most Influential Foreign Figure in Modern China History” by Chinese state media and several international forums and this is indisputable.
In chatting with Dr. Farzam on his journey through the past up until today, he tells the story of an Iranian boy with humble beginnings who came to reshape the magnitude of outcomes and the fate of the world we live in today from. To many like myself who have known him for a few years he is a grandeur futurist of the times who has impacted the past, defined where we need to be in the present whilst engineering the future for systematic outcomes that are sustainable to that era.
To get some background, Dr. Farzam grew up in the northern territory of Iran, between the mountain and the Caspian Sea. As a student of hardknocks, Dr. Farzam’s earliest teachers were the trials of nature and the changes of time and season.
In his words he says..“My father was a complete humanitarian, the only doctor of nearly a hundred villages. He must have healed close to a few 100,000 patients in his lifetime.” An awesome dimension of outcomes which left and indelible mark on him.
By 1978, Dr. Farzam emigrated to America and settled in Boston. 1979 saw the first ‘boat people’ arrive in America – Southeast Asian refugees, Vietnamese, Cambodians, and Laotians. As an immigrant himself living the challenges of those times amongst those who made up his ecosystem, he was driven to rise to the call of duty and leadership in the community supporting refugees
Dr. Farzam gives more insight into what those days were like “at just 19, I was rallying the groups to come together and stay strong. “Even though I was at school, I missed most classes. I was up every day from early morning 4 AM till late night 2 AM, running around to the airport, picking up the refugees, housing them, getting them clothing, then barely going to my classes, taking them to obtain welfare, getting the driver’s licenses, so on and so forth.” All these and .ore shaped his resilience and he understood the multifaceted dimensions of human suffering and living in lack. On the basis of that conviction Dr. Farzam Kamalabadi has become a bulwark of defiance that has put his mind, reputation and life to the service of humanity especially being determined to unlock the greatest good for the people anywhere he goes.
In recognition of his remarkable journey and service to humanity, whilst inspiring nations, as he has inspired me personally throughout our friendship and business engagements, the people of the world rise especially on the black continent to collectively walk from leader to followers, the path of the “Surprise Rise Of Africa”, which is not just a mantra but a consciousness anthem that must take its pride of place in historical manifestation such that it gives Africa a sustainable civilizational advancement and competitiveness framework in the AI driven age and post it. At the 15th edition of the Voice Awards & Business Dialogue slated for the Hilton in the United Kingdom on 21st August, 2026; Dr. Farzam is to be honoured with an award for his excellence and devotion to value addition to Africa and the world at large.
