We Don’t Need Politics For Money – B-Red Says Father Adeleke Is In Politics To Help
Nigerian singer Adebayo David Adeleke, professionally known as B-Red, has stated that his father, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, and other family members are not in politics for financial gain.
Speaking on the Echo Room podcast, he insisted that their involvement is driven by a desire to serve, not by material benefit.
The cousin of Afrobeats star Davido, expressed confidence that Nigeria would improve drastically if his father became president someday. He, however, admitted that he does not want his father to take on that role due to the immense pressure it would bring.
He said:
“If my dad, Governor Ademola Adeleke, becomes the President of Nigeria, things will improve drastically. We don’t need politics for money; we have been rich for a long time. My family is only in politics to help. But I don’t want my dad to be President because the pressure will be too much.”
