Ghanaian spiritualist Dr Power Man has claimed that former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia needs to undertake certain spiritual activities and seek the assistance of a “powerful man of God” if he wants to realise his ambition of becoming President of Ghana.

Speaking on Kessben 92.9FM’s Awurade Akasa, hosted by Prophet Richard Afful, Dr Power Man alleged that Dr Bawumia would need to take specific spiritual steps to improve his chances of winning the presidency.

“There are certain things Dr Bawumia has to do spiritually in order to become the President of Ghana. He must seek assistance from any powerful man of God,” Dr Power Man said.

He did not, however, disclose the specific spiritual activities he believes Dr Bawumia should undertake or name the particular religious figure he considers capable of assisting him.

Dr Power Man also offered a prediction about the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and how its eventual choice of presidential candidate could affect Dr Bawumia’s chances in the next general election.

According to him, the outcome of the presidential race could partly depend on who the NDC selects to lead the party into the election.

He suggested that Dr Bawumia would have a relatively easier path to victory if the NDC chooses its National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, as its presidential candidate.

However, he predicted a more difficult contest for the former Vice President if former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah emerges as the NDC’s candidate.

“If NDC chooses Asiedu Nketiah, it will be easy for Bawumia to win, but if Julius Debrah, it will be hard for him to win,” he stated.

Dr Power Man’s comments come amid growing speculation and political discussions surrounding the potential presidential candidates who could contest the 2028 general election.
