Arsenal Overtake Bayern, PSG to Rank Third Most Valuable Club Brand

By Okiki Oluwasegun

Arsenal have climbed into third place on the list of the world’s most valuable football club brands, according to the latest findings from Brand Finance, as reported by Yahoo Sports.

The North London club recorded the sharpest rise among Europe’s elite, jumping five spots to secure third position after their brand value surged by 28% to reach €1.5 billion.

That growth follows a landmark campaign in which Arsenal finally ended a 21-year wait for Premier League glory, lifting the title under manager Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners came agonizingly close to a domestic and continental double, only to fall short against Paris Saint-Germain in a penalty shootout after their Champions League final finished level at 1-1 following extra time.

Momentum has carried into the new season, with Arsenal having already thrashed Manchester City 3-0 in the Community Shield before preparing to open their Premier League title defense at home to newly promoted Coventry City.

At the summit of the rankings, Real Madrid held firm as the world’s most valuable and strongest football brand for a third straight year, boasting a valuation of €2.4 billion following a 25% increase, alongside a brand strength score of 95.8 out of 100, the highest among the 281 clubs assessed.

Barcelona stayed in second, with their brand value nearing €2 billion after a 15% rise, partly credited to their homecoming to Spotify Camp Nou and back-to-back La Liga titles.

Bayern Munich sit fourth at €1.5 billion, with PSG, Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund rounding out the top 10, a group collectively worth €14.9 billion.
