“You did the same with Menzgold” Bridget Otoo and Ghanaians blast Stonebwoy for promoting NFT company Sidicoin Club

A couple of years back we can recall that Stonebwoy was one of the celebrities to promote the Menzgold Gold Investment scheme that collapsed in 2018.

Among the celebrities that endorsed Mezgold are also Jackie Appiah, Okyeame Kwame, Becca, Joselyn Dumas and more

It seems to still be on the minds of several Ghanaians who lost their monies and never got repaid.

That’s why when recently Stonebwoy tweeted about a new NFT company Sidicoin, a lot of eyebrows were raised. Here is the tweet he posted below

You are part of the ambassadors of menzgold who championed and lead customers to lose money. Some have died as a results of the Menzgold scam. Do you think it is fair to introduce them to another “money making venture” ? Do you really care about them? https://t.co/OPyK1scLH7

Sidicoin Joined Twitter this month in April 2022 and on its website sidicoinclub.com, they explain their selves to be “…an exclusive network body (community) that accords members the right to own singular or several digital non-fungible assets (Sidicoin tokens), which comes with physical real tangible assets, that is considered a real store of value (99.5% pure 25g gold coins physical token representing each virtual Sidicoin NFT)”

The website was also just registered on the 29th March 2022 last month. So, from both indications this business seems to be brand new.

It was also discovered that the owner of Menzgold Nana Appiah Mensah was following the account (as seen below)

Currently, we cannot verify the legitimacy of this business as a basic search on the official Registrar General Department of Ghana’s website as at 19th April 22 turns up without any result. So therefore we cannot recommend their services.
