Her Excellency First Lady Fatoumatta Bah-Barrow lead a high powered women delegation to the Dubai 2022 Expo from the 27th to the 3rd of April, 2022.
Her Excellency was invited as a guest of honor in her role in women empowerment in The Gambia.
Her Excellency visited the GCCI women entrepreneurs Stand and the Senegalese stand too.
The Dubai Expo 2022 is an initiative for women to share best practices and to empower women all around the world.
Her Excellency was accompanied by Hon. Fatou Kinteh Minister of Gender Children and Social Welfare, Permanent Secretary Office of the First Lady Mrs Halimatou Tambadou Jawara , Ndey Marie Njie P S Gender together with The Gambia Women Entrepreneur that are supported by The Gambia Chamber of Commerce, Lead by the Acting CEO Sarata Conateh, Aja Adoulette Sey and Aja Ndey Awa Khan.
All of them thanked her Excellency for accepting the invitation and spoke on the importance of the Dubai Expo in women empowerment.
