Miss World: Ingabire loses Head to Head Challenge
Luck is not going Miss Rwanda 2021 Grace Ingabire’s way as she continues to struggle to impress in Puerto Rico after she lost the head to head challenge to Colombian Andrea Aguilera, during the ongoing Miss World 2021 beauty contest.
The head to head challenge was created in 2017 as an occasion for contestants to share what they achieved during their reign in their respective countries and their ambitions in the world at large.
Ingabire was part of group 13 dubbed ‘Green Team’ alongside Miss World Ireland Pamela Uba, Miss Belgium Celine Van Ouytsel, Miss Finland Emilia Lepomaki and Miss Curacao Alvinette Soliana and Miss Colombia and Group 13 challenge winner Andrea Aguilera.
The 26-year-old believes in art, specifically dance and theatre, as a tool to bring positive change to the community world.
She was last week given a chance to share what she can offer to the world through dance in a challenge hosted by Puerto Rican musician and Miss World 2016, Stephanie Del Valle, and reigning Miss World 2019, Tonni Ann Singh.
Unfortunately, she was outshined by 24-year-old Colombian beauty queen Aguilera who came out on top of Group 13 to join the other 16 who immediately progressed to the top 40 finalists from whom one will be crowned Miss World 2021.
Ingabire, however, still has the chance to save her campaign and make it to the top 40 finalists should she manage to shine in other challenges including ‘beauty with a purpose’, ‘multimedia’ as well as ‘Judges’ choice’ among others.
The 70th Miss World crown winner will be announced at a grand finale slated for December 16. She will replace reigning Miss World Tonni Ann Singh.
