The Labour Party office of Tammy Abusi the Rivers State House of Assembly Bonny Constituency candidate has received a second vandalization within the space of a month.

The first occurred on the 28th of September 2022 when the Labour Party candidate came to find out that the banners in front of her campaign office were torn into pieces by supposed opposition. Rev Tammy Clarizza Abusi then took to the media via her www.bonnyconstituency.com and social media platforms to inform the general public. She also used the opportunity to call on the officials of the party and the government in Rivers State for a level playing field of politics in the state.

On the 20th of October 2022 when many in the country were holding a memorial for the EndSARS victims, the supposed same set of thugs once again vandalized the newly mounted billboard as they were setup again.

Rev. Amb. Tammy Clarizza Abusi has therefore gone unto declaring the community unsafe for political engagements as seen in the video below.

There has been no official statement from the Labour Party officials in the state or Constituency about the multiple incidents.

However, it is safe to say that violence in politics is a way of the past and a cheap way for the ruling corrupt political class to oppress and silence the opposition. It is rather sad that the youth are still bowing to the cheap token and promises of the ones that put them in the vulnerable position that allows them to be exploited in the first place.
