Nollywood romantic comedy, ‘Call of My Life’, has crossed the N893 million mark at the Nigerian box office, emerging as the highest-grossing Nollywood film of 2026 so far.

The film’s distributor, FilmOne Entertainment, announced the milestone in an Intagram post on Monday, celebrating the continued support from audiences across West Africa.

The film, released in Nigerian cinemas on May 15, 2026, is a romantic comedy directed by filmmaker Dammy Twitch and written by actress Uzoamaka Power, who also plays the lead role. It follows Soluchi, a hopeless romantic trying to recover from the heartbreak of being jilted by her former lover, Kalu, played by Zubby Michael.

Her fortunes begin to change when a routine work call connects her with Eli, a charming Ghanaian news anchor played by Andrew Yaw Bunting, opening the possibility of a new relationship.

The cast also includes Beverly Osu, Justin UG, Broda Shaggi, Nkem Owoh, and Patience Ozokwor. Produced under Bluhouse Studios and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, the film has continued to attract attention for its blend of romance, comedy, and themes of heartbreak, self-worth, and second chances.

The N893 million milestone further strengthens its position among the major Nigerian box-office successes of the year, with FilmOne urging audiences to continue seeing the film in cinemas.
