Nigerian Businessman Dies in Thailand After Penis Enlargement Procedure
Wealthy British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo , also known online as Denisi or Ego, has died at 43 following a cosmetic penis enlargement procedure . The tragedy occurred in March while he was on a luxury vacation in Bangkok, Thailand, with his wife, fashion designer Danielle Simba Allen.
An inquest at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court revealed that Ubiribo had 40ml of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his penis at a local Thai clinic. Shortly after the treatment, the couple went for a massage at their Marriott hotel, where Ubiribo began complaining of severe chest pain and collapsed twice.
He was rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors diagnosed a fatal pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic fillers entering his bloodstream. Although he was initially conscious, he blacked out before a recommended CT scan could be performed; despite medical personnel performing CPR for over 100 minutes, he passed away in the early hours of March 6 .
Following the tragedy, a postmortem examination conducted in the UK discovered cellular material in his lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure, providing definitive physical evidence of the blockage. Based on these medical findings, Coroner Jean Harkin officially concluded that the cosmetic treatment had directly caused the fatal pulmonary embolism that led to his death .
