The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a final opportunity for students with discrepancies between their biodata and institutional records to regularise their details ahead of the 2026 national service.

The Authority said the exercise is particularly for students who have already commenced the process of resolving their discrepancies but are yet to complete it.

Affected students with the necessary supporting documents have been directed to visit the NSA Headquarters in Accra or the NSA Kumasi Regional Office from Wednesday, September 2, to Friday, September 4.

In a statement dated September 2, 2026, the NSA also urged schools and educational institutions that have identified errors in students’ records but have not completed the rectification process to participate in the exercise.

“Failure to rectify all issues on or before Friday the 4th of September will mean the inability of affected student to undertake their National Service this year,” the authority said.

The Authority said where applicable, the necessary Gazette publication, Gazette receipt and affidavit documentation must be prepared and made available to support the formal rectification process.

It stressed the importance of ensuring that students’ academic records correspond with their official identification documents, particularly their Ghana Card details.

“The NSA urges all affected students who have begun the process and haven’t as yet concluded with registration to act promptly and make use of this final window of opportunity.”
