President Uhuru Kenyatta gets street names after him in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwean second-largest city, Bulawayo, will now name one of its streets after President Uhuru Kenyatta.

This is according to the country’s President Emerson Mnangagwa who seeks to honour President Kenyatta ahead of his visit to the Southern African nation.President Kenyatta is expected to visit Zimbabwe on April 29 this year, where he will officiate the opening of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Bulawayo. 

Kenyatta is also expected to plant a tree during his visit and the city’s council was ordered to provide a location for the tree.

During a visit to Kenya in March, President Mnangagwa invited President Kenyatta to grace the ZITF event which showcases prime trade in the nation, as the chief guest.
