TOPIC: WORSHIP AND THE GLORY

SCRIPTURE: So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God. 2 Chronicles 5:14.

One major secret behind revival explosion is a lifestyle of worship.

Pure love-filled worship attracts the glory of God.

The Scripture makes it clear that as the trumpeters and

instrumentalists worshipped God, the Glory of God filled the house of God (2 Chronicles 5:13-14) during the dedication of the temple of Solomon.

And one critical requirement for acceptable worship is love. It is the love-filled worship that pulls down the glory. You cannot worship God in bitterness, unforgiveness, envy, jealousy, competition, contention and see the Glory of God. If the glory must come down, we must engage in pure love-filled worship.

Love for man and love for God.

Beloved, to see the Glory of God, you must make amends. You cannot keep malice with your wife and be attending conferences seeking to see the Glory of God.

Maybe you are a pastor and your wife does not greet you or when she greets you, you do not answer, what kind of pastor are you?

Where are you going? If my wife does not think that I am a Christian, then, I am not a Christian. If my wife does not think I am real, then, I am not real. If my wife cannot count on my words, no one has the right to count on my words.

My wife still writes down points from my message as if we are not living in the same house. She still asks me to pray for her whenever she is embarking on an important assignment. She still believes in the God I serve and calls me her man of God. We recently traveled to the USA together for ministry and while I was preaching in Memphis, my wife was shouting and screaming on top of her voice due to the weight of the revelation she was getting from the word as I preached. This is what it should be like.

People of your household must believe in you first before others outside can believe in you.

To see the Glory of God, you must engage in the pure worship of God in love, in holiness and in sincerity of heart. Let your lifestyle bring worship to God always. Resist the lifestyle of sin.

PRAYER: Father, I receive fresh grace to worship You consistently in love and sincerity of heart. Let both my lifestyle and my lips bring pure worship to You, in Jesus’ Name.
