Godwin Ako Gunn vows to jail corrupt NPP officials as Ghana intensifies property seizures under the ORAL initiative

The National Democratic Congress is turning up the heat on its predecessors with a firm promise that former New Patriotic Party appointees will soon trade their luxury estates for prison cells. Godwin Ako Gunn, the NDC’s Deputy National Communications Officer, has broke the silence on the progress of the Operation Recover All Loots campaign, admitting that while the government has already quietly seized numerous landed properties, it has failed to effectively trumpet these victories to the public.

Speaking on Starr FM, Gunn acknowledged that a communication gap has led many Ghanaians to believe the anti corruption drive was merely a hollow campaign promise. He took personal responsibility for this vacuum, noting that the public is rightfully hungry for more than just asset recoveries. According to Gunn, the administration understands that citizens want to see high profile figures behind bars, not just the return of stolen wealth.

Despite the perceived slow pace of legal proceedings, Gunn insisted that the wait is nearly over. He characterized the ongoing court cases as water tight and designed to withstand the highest scrutiny. As public pressure mounts for visible accountability, the NDC stalwart maintains that the wheels of justice are turning and that the coming months will provide the definitive evidence of prosecution that the nation has been demanding.
