Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia says he trusts COKA’s leadership to restore NPP’s strength in Ashanti RegionThe flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party NPP Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, says he trusts the leadership abilities of the new Ashanti Regional Chairman, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Chairman COKA and his executives to lead the party to victory.
According to him, the newly elected executives in the region have shown their readiness to work for the party, a move he described as a good sign of the party’s victory.
He said this during the party’s Thanksgiving service on Sunday following successful internal polls.
His message was read on his behalf by the General Secretary of the party, Justin Kodua Frimpong.
“Chairman Odeneho, you have shown leadership by inviting all party leaders for this program. This clearly shows that, with a united front, the party will succeed,” Dr Bawumia said in the statement.
He encouraged the Ashanti Regional executives to work to unite the party’s base for victory in the 2028 polls.
