Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state has cast his vote in the ongoing governorship election in the state.

Adeleke arrived at his polling unit in Ede at about 8:30 a.m. and joined other voters to exercise his franchise.

The governor cast his vote after completing the required accreditation process at the polling unit.

It was gathered that voters turned out as early as 7:20 a.m. at many of the polling units in the state to cast their ballot to elect the governor who will lead the state for the next four years.

Incumbent Governor Adeleke is facing a strong challenge from All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, African Democratic Congress candidate,Najeem Salaam among other contenders.
