Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has shared a reflective message following the death of his colleague, Taiwo Hassan, widely known as ‘Ogogo’, urging people to appreciate life and be kind to others.

In a post on his Instagram page, he expressed a desire to say so much but struggled to find the words.

The Yoruba actor also encouraged people to pause and thank God for the gift of life when they wake up feeling good. He emphasized that kindness is a responsibility and that everyone should strive to be a blessing to humanity.

He added that as long as he lives, he will continue to do his best for humanity.

He wrote:
“Sometimes, I wish I could say so much, but I just don’t know how to put it into words. When you wake up and feel good, pause for a moment and thank God for the gift of life. At the end of the day, we owe the world nothing more than to be good to humanity. Be kind. Be helpful. Be a blessing whenever you can. As long as I live, I will continue to do my best for humanity and leave the world a little better than I met it. Life is a gift. Kindness is a responsibility. Humanity is our legacy.”

The Nigerian Voice recalls that ‘Ogogo’, who was battling stage-four cancer, passed away on Sunday at 3:00 pm at the age of 66, according to a statement issued by his colleague, Jide Kosoko.

He was buried on Monday in his hometown of Ilaro, Ogun State, following Islamic rites.
