NO SOCKS NO SHOE, a major drama production put together by GAM Television under the directorship of Mrs. Veronica van de Kamp for SOAIDS to celebrate the World Aids Day on December 2nd at No Limit, Amsterdam was a huge success. The event attracted people from all works of life and it was an occasion to make a public declaration that no stigma any longer for persons living with HIV/Aids.

It was with great joy and happiness that I received the news of the recent delisting of Nigeria from the embarrassing club of countries (Nigeria and the ravaged countries of Afghanistan and Pakistan) with gold, silver and bronze medals in Polio endemicity by the World Health Organization (WHO).
There is the popular adage that’s says health is wealth and for that simple reason, Stichting Ramaya has put together a series of health education program for enlightening immigrant communities living in the Amsterdam area on their health conditions.
According to the coordinator of the Project, Jerry Sulaiman, Africans form a greater part of the Immigrant group living in Amsterdam, it is estimated that there are more than 10,000 Africans living in the Netherlands and the majority of them resides in Amsterdam particularly Southeast area.
